Installation is pretty straightforward however there are a couple of details that aren't completely accurate in the set-up instructions. When it says to place the extender half-way between your router and the problem area, not always true. My problem area is outdoors about 150 feet away. I have several computers on my network and when I placed the extender close to the the door, no one could get a signal. I called support several times, reset the extender several times and after a week finally someone from support told me to just put the extender closer to the router! Now I have it literally 15 feet from the router and it works perfectly fine! So overall, this product works but pay attention to the details. Support is available. Be patient.
