(More customer reviews)First off, if you're wondering about the color its a very dark blue, Navy would be a good description, that is not metallic at all. Was exactly what I wanted though.
Ok, so there's a rubber "condom" you place around the phone first. Its very soft and "squishy" which provides "double protection" by allowing some give if its dropped (say a small "toss" onto a table) while not scratching the phone case in the process (other phone cases I've seen have scratched the phone, while "protecting it").
On top of this is the colored case which while firm, still has a "soft" feel to it. This allows it to provide some structural rigidity to the phone case, but still have a good tactile feel to it when you use the phone.
The two cases together provide a very nice combination of protection while only increasing the dimensions slightly. And while I'm on that, the addition of the case to the phone actually makes the phone the "perfect" size. The Incredible itself tends to be very slim and in an average sized hand has a tendency to "slip & slide". This case increases the width/depth just enough to handle with confidence. That being said I still place it in my front jeans pocket with comfort, so the case doesn't make the overall size too big/bulky.
Really though, if you don't want/like the outer case, you can place the inner cover on by itself and I think it'd be an adequate "soft" case for the phone.
As for the "holster". I actually like it a lot. Comes with "fuzz" front to place the screen against to prevent scratches and the clip is spring mounted, so you actually slide the back end in first, lift the clip, then settle it down around the phone as it seats. The only problem is while the clip design is effective it is certainly not "stylish". The clip is bulky and because the rest of the holder is so low profile you can't help but focus in on it. That being said however, the blue color does help to offset. In the end, if I wear a shirt/jacket that covers it, the case is perfect, but otherwise it tends to be noticeable.
