(More customer reviews)I had no problem with using this bag through airport security and it fits fine under the seat. It's a very roomy bag and I was able to fit three changes of clothes plus heels. Here's another trick for using this bag: put your liquids in a bag between the two compartments so when you unzip the bag to go through the x-ray machine, you can toss your liquids into a bin. No need to fish it out of the main compartment.

I have owned this Brenthaven laptop shoulder bag for the past 5 years. At the time of my original purchase, I paid nearly twice as much for it but have not regretted it the least.
I am somewhat surprised this bag is still available for purchase on Amazon since it no longer appears on Brenthaven's website. For those sitting on the fence, I would act soon before all these bags get gobbled up.
This bag, which I bring to work every single day, has served me well beyond my expectations. I have not encountered a single major problem with it. Everything is intact today like what it was on day one. No issues with the external fabric, handles, zippers, shoulder strap, laptop compartment, or other compartments.
The exterior shell of the bag is made of durable, high-grade ballistic nylon, which has protected the contents inside from all types of abuse. Inside the bag, there is additional protection for the laptop with a removable well-padded laptop compartment. There is quarter-inch padding all the way around for protecting the laptop from moderate impact.
Moreover, there are enough easily-accessible compartments to keep all your items organized and within reach.
I find the padded, ergonomic shoulder strap sits comfortably on my shoulder. Even during long daily commutes on the train or walks to and from the train station/airport/hotel/work/home, I haven't experienced any shoulder strain.
A note of caution is in order. Because of the heavy-duty material and padding provided, the bag weighs approximately 3 pounds. It has not been an issue for me; however, a potential consumer should consider the weight before purchasing this bag.Strengths:

Mobile Edge Premium V-Load Briefcase for 17.3-Inch Notebook - Black 2.0 Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this case in January and have been using it for almost 4 months now. Initially it came without a strap......which was apparently accidentally left out at the factory. I contacted Mobile Edge directly, and they immediately resolved the issue with excellent and personal customer service. I almost never write any kind of reviews whatsoever, but since this was such a positive experience, I wanted them to get rewarded in some way if I could return the favor. The case is large, but it is lighter than the case I had for a smaller laptop. I'm now using an 8 pound "mobile workstation" 17" class computer that's for doing real production work and is not really for work while jammed in a regional jet. (It's for 3D animation, not e-mail or word processing.) The quality of the materials on this bag are very good. It feels like the dash of an exotic carbon fiber sports car. It is put together very well. It feels like the bag could protect you from gun fire with it's textured ballistic material. The quality of this material is better than other ballistic bags I own. The top loading case is nice, as is the padded sleeve for the laptop. There is gobs of room in here for other items and every accessory you can imagine. The price was also very reasonable. It costs about a third of what my last one cost. The only criticism I have for the bag is the split handle is not terribly comfortable for extended periods of time. However, that is really a nit pickey comment considering the trade-offs in function and weight. If I ever need to replace this one, and it's doubtful that will be anytime soon, I would definitely go with another Mobile Edge product since they really have good designs, good manufacturing, and great customer service. Oh, the styling of this bag works for professional environments very well - I don't think the picture does it justice.

From what I seen, personally.. The item felt very sturdy, strong, and it was a nice size. It had a lovely laptop case that fit perfectly inside, also had tons of zippers in the front. He explains a lot in the video.He used the item a couple times. One time he flew with the item, when he went to Texas. The airport did ask him to take the laptop out of the slot, but he didn't have to open the bag that the laptop was in. You understand? (he explained this to me since I question him about these things, so I can review them)

Tamrac 5788 Evolution 8 Photo/Laptop Sling Backpack Bag (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I already own a Tamrac Expedition and a Lowepro sling bag. The sling is good for short trips when I want to go light but the single strap can get uncomfortable after awhile. The Expedition holds a lot but access is not as easy- you have to take the bag off. What I like best about the Evolution is the triple access- front and both sides. You can set it up so the camera is accessed on one side and the lenses on the other. And you can use the bag like a backpack for long term comfort or a sling for shorter outings. Even with the Lowe sling getting my camera (Nikon 300D with zoom) out requires a little contortion, but the SLR is right there with the Evolution. It really combines the best features of both bags and has plenty of storage. I will probably get rid of the Expedition and continue to use the sling for quick outings and the Evolution for day trips and my major trip/shooting bag, especially because it has the tripod pocket and the extra storage. Build quality is good and the extra pockets all over the bag are well thought out and enable rational storage of needed items. This bag is really the most versatile I have seen as an all around bag for short hikes and long trips.
