Very easy to use and set up. A secure unit that does 64 and 128 bit encryption. I've compared other wireless units and for the money this one is feature packed along with it's lifetime warranty. A good buy for a nice product.

The SMC wireless networking starter kit contains an SMC access point and a PC card to provide instant wireless connection with an existing Ethernet installation.
The access point connects to your Ethernet via standard cabling, allowing any PC with a wireless adapter the ability to enjoy an 11 Mbps data rate for sharing files, printers, or cable or DSL modems for Internet access. The access point has a maximum operating range of 1,500 feet and supports up to 128 clients. To expand a network, simply add more access points.
The SMC2620W also comes with an 11 Mbps PC card to provide wireless LAN networking for your notebook PC. The Type II PCMCIA card supports up to 128 users on a peer-to-peer basis (one wireless card per notebook, no access point required) or connects a notebook PC to an existing network using an access point. With an operating range of up to 1,500 feet, the PC card provides guaranteed broadband compatibility with an access point.
SMC backs both the Access Point and the PC Card with a limited lifetime warranty.
