(More customer reviews)I had used a soft phone for the last 6 years for work, and it worked well, but the watching apps load so the phone doesn't stutter or not downloading anything while talking, was getting old.
I needed a phone that would be simple to set up and would go straight to my soft switch provider sometimes called DID provider.
Just received it yesterday, and this thing is great. Good quality plastics, weight, size, buttons. For 100 bucks this thing is great value. The menus are easy to navigate, and the update firmware cannot get easier, no SFTP or ssh to muck around with. The webserver part is great as you can program every aspect of the phone. call forwarding is especially easy. The only thing that doesn't work when you go with SIP is the MOH, and the VM indicator light but who cares. Didn't even port forward on the router and it works fine.
Sound quality wise this is so much better than a softphone. Speakerphone volume is loud, and clear, handset is great.
So if you want the latest and greatest from Cisco, and have a small business, get this phone.
